IIAS-EUROMENA Conference 2022: Young Global Public Administration

From 27 June to 1 July 2022, Rome will host the conference of the International Institute of Administrative Science (IAAS): “IIAS-EUROMENA Conference 2022”. The conference is organised by the University of Rome Tor Vergata and in particular by the Government and Civil Society Research Group of the Department of Management and Law of the Tor Vergata Economics Faculty.

The Government and Civil Society Research Group is directed by Prof. Marco Meneguzzo, of the Public Value Research Centre (CERVAP), and promotes research, teaching and third mission activities in the field of public management and social innovation, integrating experience and expertise gained in the public and private sector and making use of a national and international network of researchers, from universities and scientific associations, qualified experts and technicians from public administrations.

The main theme of the conference is “Next Generation Governance and Young Global Public Administration: Mobilizing People, Skills, Energies for a Sustainable New Normal”.
Topic areas to be covered include planning and strategic management for the Next EU Generation, digitalisation and emerging technologies for recovery and resilience, anti-corruption and corruption risk management.

The conference will be held on the premises of the University of Rome Tor Vergata and the LUISS University of Rome, as well as in some of the buildings of the Italian Government. It will involve numerous national and international partners from the academic and institutional world, as well as international institutions.

A “call for panel” will be opened in order to identify the key research and practical issues regarding the main theme and the key topics of the conference. The themes of research resulting from these panels will help to define the actual conference programme.
