The Public Value Research Centre (CERVAP) carries out interdisciplinary national and international scientific research with reference to the Public Administrations (PAs) of the different sectors, their service management companies and forms of public-private partnership in the following areas:
- Public Value;
- Performance Management;
- Risk Management, Anti-corruption and Transparency;
- Wellbeing and Sustainable Development;
- Economic Financial Health;
- Digital Health;
- Organisational Health;
- Governance;
- Accountability;
- Marketing.
The research centre also undertakes studies and research on commission, for public and private institutions in the relevant sectors, offering high qualification and advanced know-how as well as experience and excellence gained by academics and experts in specific fields of research.

SNA Project: the Public Value Governance of Sustainable Mobility
Project ranked first in the competitive research call (Projects for a new Public Administration) promoted by the National School of Administration, on the topic of “Improving the results and quality of services”.

Public Value Report: first application to the public utility Clara SpA
The Public Value Report is a new form of reporting that integrates the economic, social, environmental and health impacts created by the activities of an organisation, whether public or private, in relation to its internal and external stakeholders. The aim of the Public Value Report is to measure, evaluate and report the contribution made by an organisation to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set in the 2030 Agenda and to creating Public Value.

Public Value Observatory: the Public Value created by Italian Metropolitan Cities
The Observatory of Public Value sets itself the objective of measuring the Public Value created by the various sectors and clusters of Public Administrations on the principles of the Public Value Pyramid Model, devised by Prof. Enrico Deidda Gagliardo. An initial experimentation phase of the Observatory was applied to the Local Authorities sector, in particular measuring the Public Value created by implementing the policies of the 14 Italian Metropolitan Cities.

Smartworking Plan: monitoring the programming quality
With this work, the Research Centre sets itself the objective of monitoring the effective implementation, by Public Administrations, of the Guidelines no. 6/2020 “AWOP and performance indicators” issued by the Civil Service Department.
