Luca Papi wins the second edition of the SISR “Alberto Bisaschi” prize

Dr. Luca Papi, Research Fellow of the University of Ferrara Department of Economics and Management and at the Public Value Research Centre, is the winner of the “Alberto Bisaschi” prize with a work co-written by Prof. Michele Bigoni (University of Kent), Prof. Enrico Deidda Gagliardo (University of Ferrara) and Prof. Warwick Funnell (University of Kent) “Accounting for power and resistance: The University of Ferrara under the Fascist regime in Italy”, published in the journal ‘Critical Perspectives on Accounting’.

The Alberto Bisaschi prize, in its second edition (2020), is awarded to the best scientific publication of Accounting History in English, in order to recognise the work of academics with Italian citizenship who have achieved results of clear originality, autonomy and national and international importance.

Dr. Luca Papi will receive the prize on 23 October at the conference of the Italian Society of Accounting History (SISR) which this year, because of Covid-19, will take place online.
